What do we see in 2024

This page will be frequently updated with photos featuring the animals and nature of the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes.

This is a large dune area of about 34 square kilometers between Noordwijk and Zandvoort. It is the filtration area for the Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

There are 4 entrances and many miles of hiking trails, both paved and unpaved.

I could write for hours about this area but AWD’ s own site has all the info!

In the coming months we will go there often, following the development of nature, fallow deer and of course the young foxes!
