As also above water, spring is a time of the beginning of life.

Last year I did a 4-week consecutive dive in Vinkeveen, at Zandeiland 4.

In the twigs and even just loose on the ground, I went after the offspring of bass.
Almost literally from day 1 through day 21, I tried to photograph as much of the development of the eggs as possible.
From almost completely transparent to the young perch that were about to swim out are now pictured.

I used the 60mm macro lens with ucl-165 and Nauticam CMC front lenses for this purpose.
